Weems Lifetime Achievement Award<\/h3>\n<ul>\n<li>The William H. Weems Lifetime Achievement award is an award for an individual\u2019s total career where he or she contributed to and\/or influenced the occupational safety and\/or health field.<\/li>\n<li>All the requirements for the first award will apply, and all the recognitions will be the same; however, the recipient\u2019s life work will be judged rather than a \u201cheadline event\u201d.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>The Award recipient(s) or their family representative will be invited as guests to the Conference in the year of the award.<\/p>\n<p>The recipient(s) will be recognized at the conference with an award.<\/p>\n<p>The Awards Subcommittee for the Alabama Governor&#8217;s Safety &amp; Health Conference must receive nominations for both awards by June 16, 2025.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center\"><a href=\"https:\/\/universityofalabama.az1.qualtrics.com\/jfe\/form\/SV_dhxf5XAE6SVAu3k\" class=\"btn  btn-crimson btn-lg\">Submit a Nomination<\/a><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Achievement Award Criteria Recognition of Excellence The recipient must have contributed significantly to occupational safety and\/or occupational health and must have been born, educated or worked in the state of Alabama.
