Below is information about the cost of attendance, federal financial aid, and scholarship opportunities, some earmarked specifically for New College LifeTrack students.<\/p>\n<h2>Tuition<\/h2>\n<p>After enrolling, students should log into\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/login.ua.edu\/cas\/login?service=https%3A%2F%2Fmybama.ua.edu%2Fc%2Fportal%2Flogin\">mybama.ua.edu<\/a> and click on \u201cStudent Services\u201d in the box titled Banner Self Services. When the new menu drops, choose \u201cStudent Account Services\u201d to pay course tuition and fees. This will also confirm the semester schedule. The tuition rate can be found by visiting\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/bamabydistance.ua.edu\/tuition-financial-aid-scholarships\/tuition.php\">UAOnline<\/a>\u00a0and, in addition, the student should expect to pay a $15.00 fee per credit hour for Arts and Sciences. Tuition rates are subject to change in August of the academic year.<\/p>\n<h2>Federal Financial Aid<\/h2>\n<p>Students should complete or renew federal financial aid applications online. Detailed information and instructions can be found on the <a href=\"https:\/\/financialaid.ua.edu\/\">UA Student Financial Aid website<\/a>. \u00a0Information from the most recent tax returns will be needed.<\/p>\n<h2>Financial Aid Consideration<\/h2>\n<p>Students receiving financial aid need to be vigilant about starting and completing coursework in the semester of enrollment. Federal Financial Aid can be affected if less than 67% of coursework enrolled is completed in the semester of enrollment. For more information about these rules, students should contact Financial Aid on the UA campus at (205) 348-6756.<\/p>\n<h2>Scholarships and Grants<\/h2>\n<p>The <a href=\"https:\/\/online.ua.edu\/tuition-financial-aid-scholarships\/scholarships\/ua-online-scholarships\/\">Office of Teaching Innovation and Digital Education<\/a> has a variety of scholarship opportunities available. A simple scholarship application will be required and is available on a rolling basis throughout the year. See their website for specific deadlines and instructions on how to apply.<\/p>\n<p>If you previously earned at least 15 hours from UA in the past and have been gone for more than a year, you may be eligible for a <a href=\"https:\/\/bamabydistance.ua.edu\/degrees\/back-to-bama\/index.php\">Back to Bama grant<\/a>.
