If you started your bachelor\u2019s degree at The University of Alabama but didn\u2019t complete it, we\u2019d like to welcome you back to Bama. We\u2019re committed to providing education that fits your life. Initiatives like Back to Bama can help you find your place at UA, even if you\u2019re juggling a family, career and other responsibilities, and even if you\u2019re not on campus.<\/p>\n
Also, if you struggled with your grades prior to leaving UA, you may be eligible for\u00a0Academic Second Opportunity<\/a>. ASO is an academic relief option that allows former students to return to UA with a second chance at doing well academically.<\/p>\n To apply for the Back to Bama grant, equal to the cost of one course during your first semester of enrollment in a UA Online degree program after you return to the university, you must first apply for readmission<\/strong> to The University of Alabama. Once you have been\u00a0readmitted to the university, you can then apply for the Back to Bama tuition grant.<\/p>\n To be eligible, you must:<\/p>\n You must be enrolled in at least one 3-credit hour class and submit your application for the Back to Bama tuition grant no later than the last day to add classes for the full term. For the summer semester, you must submit the application and enroll prior to the last day to register for Summer 1, Summer 2 or the full summer term.
